WORLDWIZE PART 1 NORTH AND SOUTH – ALBUM REVIEW
Blue King Brown and are poised to grow their fan base to a larger more mainstream scale with the release of Worldwize. First single lifted Women’s Revolution feat Queen Ifrica, illustrates their ability to harness power and deliver message with finely honed production values. The entire album lends itself to different vibes while staying in the reggae style; there’s some very sexy sounds, and it gets pumping in all the right places. It’s not a sound I expected from such a large band, frankly it’s smooth as fuck. All in all a high quality album, recorded over several worldly locations with varying influences, though I couldn’t pin point just one. Part 1 North and South is out August 20. Read More

WORLDWIZE (PART 1 NORTH AND SOUTH) was recorded in studios from Jamaica to New York, Las Vegas to New Zealand and back home here in Melbourne town.

Some great people came together to make this album what it is today, including producers and engineers; Chris Macro (Scribe, Katchafire), James ‘Bonzai’ Caruso (Gwen Stefani, Nas, Damien Marley, Madonna) and Colin ‘Bulby’ York from Kingston Jamaica (Rihanna, Jimmy Cliff, Britney Spears, Madonna, Michael Franti, UB40).

Not to mention our inspirational guests, whose sounds have fused with Blue King Brown to create the unique resonance of Worldwize: Sly & Robbie, Queen Ifrica, Jah Mason, Elliott Martin of USA’s ‘John Brown’s Body’, & Voodoo Dred (Haiti/Melbourne).
