Blue King Brown, hailing from Melbourne, Australia and having toured internationally over the last several years including barging a path through Canada from Victoria to Tofino to Nelson, to the main stages of Winnipeg, Ottawa and Montreal Jazz and Blues Fests and even a run up to the great north of St John NB. Blue King Brown’s self-titled debut Canadian was released on Indica Records in May 2011 and lead the charge toward a wider audience breakthrough and introduced the music and the band to those that have only heard about or seen them live. The new album includes the hit song ‘Water’ (one of many self-produced music videos) which has garnered over 500,000 views on youtube, then comes the anthemic ‘Moment Of Truth’ and the solid track and video ‘Never Fade Away’ . The album was recorded in Australia, Jamaica, America and mixed in Las Vegas captured the eclectic international sound of the locations, full of life, musical intimacies and full-throttle adventures. Past festival performances include Vancouver Jazz, Montreal Jazz and Ottawa Blues. Catch the buzz as Blue King Brown will be back touring Canada in July 2012.
