Australian Youth Climate Coalition Aged 14 – 28? Blue King Brown encourages you to get involved in the Australian Youth Climate Coalition’s first national youth climate summit – Power Shift 2009. This is the year our country’s youth can rise up to build a generation wide movement to solve climate change. This is the year people will look back on and remember as The Year a Power Shift came to Australia. You have the opportunity to step up and join the growing tide of the youth climate movement. On July 11th – 13th, thousands of youth will descend on Sydney for 3 days of learning, inspiration, empowerment, planning and action. Speakers include Professor Tim Flannery, youth from the Pacific Islands – and there’ll be bands, an eco-fashion show, and TWO creative actions. Power Shift is our moment to hold our Government accountable for the bold clean energy and climate policies our generation and our planet demand.
